Clearly, the Apocalypse is upon us, for today I received the following e-mail from my mother:
Dad found an add for the Science Connection, www.sciconnect.com . The ad says “Stick your neck out and meet someone. Mingle with others of your kind in the only singles group for science and nature enthusiasts.”I guess I need to give her credit for the 21st century-ness of it all, but mostly I'm just frightened that my mother is even aware of online dating. If that's not a sign of the end of the world, I don't know what is!
